So, here is Jenna at about 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, June 13. At this point we thought it would be Paige's birthday, but Paige had other plans.42 Hours of labor later, this is what we got to see:

Paige Ellen Sarr

Don't we all look pretty good for no sleep or showers since 4:00 a.m. the day before???

Here are just a few shots of sweet little Paige Ellen, many (MANY) more to come......

I'm wondering if this is a sign of things to come???

For my birthday I got to spend the morning with my mom and my sister. We had breakfast at Valhalla's and then went shopping for our birthday presents, our choice.

It has become a bit of a tradition for the three of us to spend my sister and my birthdays this way and we all enjoy it. It's the one day of the year that we do something together, just the three of us.

So my choice this year was a new vacuum cleaner for upstairs. Not very sexy, but I'm really looking forward to not having to lug the heavy one up and down the stairs anymore. I'm SOOO excited to clean house tomorrow!

I didn't include a picture of the vacuum cleaner, but below you will see a gift that my mom gave me in addition to the sexy vacuum cleaner. I absolutely LOVE it!

This is for little miss Paige to wear when she's here at Grandma's house. When she outgrows it, she can use it for her baby doll. PRECIOUS!

See my granddaughter, Paige, in there? We get to see her little face in just a few weeks! They say she's going to show up on June 11, but I'm pretty sure she's going to make an appearance on May 31.

GateWay Women's Breakfast 2010

So, the last time I posted to my blog was apparently last year after the 2nd annual GateWay Women's Breakfast. How embarrassing!

I've been thinking alot lately about reviving my blog, so I figured I would start out by updating with the 3rd annual GateWay Women's Breakfast, which took place on March 6, 2010.

The guest speakers were Sylvia Lange and Billye Sluyter Johnstone of Crimson Bridge. They were alot of fun, had beautiful voices, and shared some of their life experiences with us that were very encouraging.

Once again, the ladies attending had the opportunity to decorate a table. Once again, there were some AMAZINGLY creative tables to be seen. Mine, of course, was not one of the AMAZINGLY creative ones, but I did my best and that's all God asks of any of us!

You probably can't tell from picture, but my theme was "Secrets of the Vine", one of my favorite books by Bruce Wilkinson which looks at Jesus' words in John 15.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5

Here is a picture of my Mary Engelbreit Cherries table at the GateWay Women's breakfast on Saturday. Of course I wore black with red shoes to match!

What an exciting morning it was! 60 tables all decorated by different ladies, each one different and unique, and beautiful in it's own special way, just like us!!! God was well represented!
